Fraxel™ Laser Treatment

This innovative fractional approach to laser skin treatment, Fraxel™ achieves results by resurfacing the skin 15-30% at each session. Microscopic-deep columns of treatments named micro-thermal zones are surrounded by zones of healthy skin tissue. This fractional treatment allows the skin to heal faster than if it were treated all at once, using the body's natural healing process to create healthy tissue to replace skin imperfections, remodel collagen and tighten skin texture.
Fraxel™ laser technology restores a youthful look; erases pigmented areas, acne scars, surgical scars, melasma, and sun spots; and eradicates fine wrinkles. Multiple treatments (4-5) are needed to achieve optimal results.

Thermage®

The only non-invasive treatment that delivers tighter skin, renewed facial contours and healthier collagen. It has been clinically proven to tighten and gently lift skin to smooth out wrinkles and renew facial contours with the use of deep thermal heating. The procedure requires no downtime from normal activities.

IPL (photo-facial)

Intense pulsed light effectively treats and diminishes sun spots, age spots, freckles and broken capillaries. It is still one of the most effective ways to treat sun damaged skin, evens out the skin tone and diminish Rosacea symptoms.

Dermaplaning

The most precise and effective form of exfoliation. It removes dead skin and softens fine lines without any downtime. It is virtually painless and is recommended just before that big event to insure a smooth makeup application with a rejuvenated appearance. Dermaplaning can be performed every 2 weeks for optimal results and once a month for maintenance.

Laser Genesis

An innovative way to treat excessive redness, with a low level laser. Laser Genesis utilizes heat to dilate capillaries and improve overall texture by stimulating collagen re-growth. Laser Genesis is painless and the downtime is minimal to none. This treatment is recommended for post surgical maintenance for its accelerated healing qualities on scars and works best in conjunction with dermaplaning.

Laser Hair Removal

At Dr. Ken Stein's office, The CoolGlide™ hair removal system is used to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body, putting an end to shaving, waxing, creams and electrolysis.

The laser's cold hand piece is placed gently on the skin and glides along as pulses of light are delivered from the laser. When the light penetrates the skin, it selectively damages the root of the unwanted hair. CoolGlide™ hair removal differs from electrolysis in that it is faster, delivering non-invasive light energy to hundreds of hair follicles at one time.

Laser Vein Removal

Remove unsightly veins from all parts of the body. The Cynosure laser is used for the removal of small veins. Facial veins can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. Spider veins and large blue leg veins can also be treated with excellent results.

Radiesse®

A safe, FDA- approved dermal filler that restores a natural, ore youthful look. This convenient treatment fills and corrects smile lines, Nasolabial Folds and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Restylane®

Both Restylane® and Perlane® are cosmetic dermal fillers that replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Your doctor will decide whether Restylane® or Perlane® is better for you. The difference is in the gel particle size. Both products deliver long lasting results, approximately six months.

Sculptra®

SculptráAesthetic is a new facial injectable treatment indicated for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold (smile lines) contour deficiences and other facial wrinkles which are treated with the appropriate injection technique in healthy people. It works gradually to replace collagen that is lost during the aging process.

Botox™

A medication that helps to erase wrinkles and relax muscles in facial areas and the neck. Results are smoother skin and a younger appearance without surgery. Botox is injected directly into the vertical forehead frown creases, crow's-feet around the eyes, and into the neck (to minimize neck banding). The effect of the injections usually lasts three to six months.

Chemical Peel

The Chemical Peel uses a chemical solution to smooth and improve the texture of the facial skin. Damaged outer layers of skin are removed during the process. A chemical peel is usually performed for cosmetic reasons, to enhance one's appearance. The chemical peel is helpful to those who have wrinkles, blemishes, and uneven skin coloration.

Collagen / Fat Injections

Injected collagen and fat are primarily used to improve the appearance of the skin's texture and contour, restoring a more youthful looking appearance. They can help fill out deep facial wrinkles, creases and furrows, "sunken" cheeks, skin depressions and some types of scars. They can also be used to add a fuller, more sensuous look to the lips. The collagen is injected directly into the affected areas

Micro-dermabrasion

Micro-dermabrasion is a comprehensive approach to skin care that is non-surgical, safe and effective. Micro-dermabrasion is a progressive skin resurfacing treatment that utilizes a delicate hand piece through which powdered micro-crystals are glided across all areas of the face, neck, decollete, back and hands. The crystals are then vacuumed up along with the polished skin. This technique delivers a gentle abrasion which efficiently produces satisfying results in as little as 20 minutes.
